國立嘉義大學音樂系交響樂團《變奏與傳承》—從主題到蛻變 National Chiayi University Department of Music Symphony Orchestra-Variations and Legacy

國立嘉義大學音樂學系承襲百年音樂教育傳統，長期致力於培育兼具演奏、教學與音樂專業素養的人才。作為雲嘉地區重要的音樂教育基地，嘉義大學音樂學系交響樂團在歷任指揮的帶領下持續精進，現由曾獲日本廣島國際指揮大賽大獎的鄒佳宏擔任指揮，帶領學生以扎實的排練與成熟的音樂詮釋，展現青年樂團的活力與實力。 本場音樂會以「變奏與傳承」為主題，呼應國立傳統藝術中心臺灣音樂館《聲音的生產－臺灣音樂高等教育八十年》系列計畫「誰在教」的核心精神，透過演講音樂會（Lecture-Concert）的形式，結合導聆、示範與完整演出，引領觀眾看見音樂從分析、排練到舞台演出的完整歷程，體驗高等音樂教育中理論與實踐相互交融的過程。 音樂會精選兩部以「再創作」為核心精神的經典作品。拉赫曼尼諾夫《帕格尼尼主題狂想曲》以帕格尼尼名作為基礎，透過二十四段變奏展現豐富的音樂想像；亨德密特《韋伯主題交響變形》則以韋伯作品為素材，運用二十世紀的創作語言重新建構聲響，展現歷史與創新的對話。 本場演出由指揮鄒佳宏領軍，嘉義大學音樂學系主任楊千瑩擔任鋼琴獨奏，攜手嘉義大學音樂學系交響樂團，共同呈現兩部二十世紀經典鉅作，邀請觀眾一同感受音樂在傳承中創新、在變奏中延續的藝術魅力。The Department of Music of National Chiayi University carries on a century-long tradition of music education in Taiwan, dedicated to nurturing musicians with professional expertise in performance, teaching, and musical knowledge. The NCYU Symphony Orchestra is currently led by Chia-Hung Zou, recipient of a major award at the Hiroshima International Conducting Competition in Japan. Entitled “Variation and Legacy,” this concert responds to the theme of “Who Teaches?” in the Taiwan Music Institute’s project “The Production of Sound: Eighty Years of Higher Music Education in Taiwan.” Presented as a Lecture-Concert, the program combines commentary, musical demonstrations, and complete performances, revealing how music develops from analysis and rehearsal to the concert stage, and highlighting the interplay between theory and practice in higher music education.The program features two masterpieces centered on reinterpretation and transformation: Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, which develops Paganini’s celebrated theme through twenty-four variations, and Hindemith’s Symphonic Metamorphosis on Themes by Weber, which transforms Weber’s musical materials through the innovative language of the twentieth century. Led by Chia-Hung Zou, with Chien-Ying Yang, Chair of the Department of Music, as piano soloist, the NCYU Symphony Orchestra presents these two works as a dialogue between tradition and innovation.
