Directors Véréna Paravel and J.P. Sniadecki capture the rhythm between mechanical breakdown and human life across four seasons. Paravel sees the ruined cars reflecting residents’ precarious lives, encapsulating post-industrial decay and immigration politics. Eschewing voiceover, Sniadecki grants audiences the freedom to inhabit the site’s raw sensory ecosystem and interpret its fragile, resilient reality.
