活動介紹

2026秋天藝術節 四把椅子劇團 ✕ 大衛・吉塞森《如果我有寫信給你》

國家兩廳院 NTCH

A collection of unwritten letters, a gentle pen-wielding soul.
As they are read to you, time and regret intertwine to form intimate odes.

Unwritten Letters originated from a long-term project initiated by David Geselson, playwright and director for the French theater company Compagnie Lieux-Dits. Through one-on-one interviews, individuals are invited to share words they have never spoken, never written, or could never send, which are then transformed into anonymous letters. This Taiwanese and French version is co-directed by Tora HSU and Geselson with author HSIAO I-hui participating in the interviews and serving as ghostwriter, translating local Taiwanese life experiences into theater scripts.

Performers Angie WANG and LIN Zi-heng continue their collaboration with Geselson following the 2025 TIFA production of Doreen. They share the stage, reading letters from Taiwan and France. The combination of letters in each performance is unique, accompanied by improvised cello performances, language is elevated to sound as sentiments of love, loss, and regret are revealed.
