蜥蜴封城日記 2 Lizards美國 USA｜2020｜DCP｜Color｜23min2021 MoMA紐約現代藝術博物館｜2022 惠特尼美術館透過日記電影式的擬人化動物視角，由兩隻蜥蜴在紐約封城期間的日常軼事，帶出醫護人員、新聞工作者與倡議人士等不同角色的生活樣貌，精準捕捉疫情期間各種光怪陸離、荒謬又溫馨的小故事。本片由八集超迷你短篇組成，為瑪莉安・貝娜尼與歐瑞安・巴爾基首次共同執導的作品，並於2020、2021年相繼成為MoMA紐約現代藝術博物館、惠特尼美術館永久收藏。Originally released as an eight-part episodic series on Meriem Bennani’s Instagram account, this mini-series marks Bennani and Orian Barki’s first collaboration. In COVID-era New York, two animated, anthropomorphized lizards move through uncertainty and isolation, finding tender and touching moments of community and connection. 瑪莉安・貝娜尼 Meriem Bennani生於摩洛哥，現居紐約。長期在影像、雕塑與沉浸式裝置藝術中探索形式的變化疆界。作品富有批判、幽默與獨樹一格的敘事魅力，為國際上備受矚目的新銳藝術家。A Morocco-born, New York-based artist, she develops a shape-shifting practice of films, sculptures and immersive installations widely shown in numerous solo exhibitions and retrospectives worldwide. 歐瑞安・巴爾基 Orian Barki生於以色列，現居紐約。曾執導多部紀錄短片、廣告，作品多發佈於Dazed、Nowness、Fader等線上平台，擅長以真實電影手法及親密調性構築敘事。An Israeli-born filmmaker living in New York, she has directed numerous short documentaries, focusing on coming-of-age stories in a personal and energetic vérité style.CAPS島民生活三部曲 Life on the CAPS – Trilogy摩洛哥、瑞士 Morocco, Switzerland｜2022｜DCP｜Color｜75min2022 英國諾丁漢當代藝術館｜2022 泰德現代美術館｜2022 紐約影展｜2023 BFMAF柏威克新銳電影媒體影展當離散型態隨科技進步產生質變，人們改用瞬間移動取代飛行，所有試圖進入美國的非法難民遭攔截後，皆會被傳送到位處大西洋的膠囊島（CAPS），困守當地的居民發展出多元文化並存又自成一格的難民認同。三部曲以真人實拍結合電腦動畫、實境秀、MV、紀實元素的多樣影音部署，呈現受地緣政治、科技監控和全球化媒體景觀支配下的離散生活經驗與其抵抗潛能。Set in a dystopian future, the trilogy takes place in the CAPS, where migrants are interned after teleporting “illegally” across borders.
