莫札特《唐‧喬萬尼》歌劇音樂會 MOZART’s Don Giovanni – Opera in Concert

歌劇，是莫札特最偉大的藝術。論其箇中之最，相信很多人會選《唐·喬萬尼》！這是《費加洛婚禮》在布拉格大獲成功後，莫札特為該城打造的全新作品。深受鼓舞的他靈思泉湧、下筆如飛，為音色性格不同的三位女高音、三位男中音，加上男高音與男低音，譜出八星報喜、花腔滿天飛的超華麗歌劇。序曲更在開演前一晚寫成，謂為傳奇中的傳奇。 唐·喬萬尼，也就是唐璜（Don Juan），是西班牙傳說中的好色一代男，後來成為眾多浪漫文學家筆下的要角，連《歌劇魅影》都有他的身影。但莫札特老搭檔達·龐特（Lorenzo Da Ponte）的劇本並不把他當成獵豔英雄，反而以喜鬧劇的形式呈現他的失手、失策與天譴結局。雖然有誤殺血案也有鬼魂索命，全劇仍然笑料不斷，搭配美好動聽的獨唱與重唱，以豪奢至極的聲樂饗宴令人大呼過癮。和唱段同樣精彩的，是莫札特的心理刻畫。乍看之下，安娜矜持不敢面對自己、艾薇拉狂戀主角成瘋成魔、村女澤林娜滿是見異思遷的輕佻，但若仔細觀察，安娜有著難以言喻的複雜，艾薇拉則有不被理解的孤獨，莫札特關注到種種曖昧隱藏的情思，用音樂表達地淋漓盡致。至於縱橫全場、影響所有其他角色的唐·喬萬尼，三小時大戲裡的獨唱卻僅有數分鐘的短歌，作曲家的寓意不言可喻，更展現無懈可擊的戲劇感。 《唐·喬萬尼》張力強勁，唱工繁複，無論何其通俗，每次演出仍是對指揮與歌手的重大考驗，內涵也足以呈現各種詮釋。衛武營此次集結陳翰威、謝銘謀、蕭涵、林健吉、耿立、胡庭維、廖宇盟、梁又中等頂尖陣容，攜手高雄市交響樂團、高雄室內合唱團，加上創作多才型演員韋以丞擔任說書人穿針引線，絕對讓人輕鬆享受，耳目一新！（文｜焦元溥）Opera was MOZART’s greatest art form, and many would call Don Giovanni his masterpiece. Following the massive success of The Marriage of Figaro in Prague, MOZART created this new work for the city. Deeply inspired, he wrote at speed, composing a lavish opera for three sopranos, three baritones, a tenor, and a bass, each with a distinct vocal personality. MOZART, a legend among legends, even wrote the overture the night before the premiere. Don Giovanni, also known as Don Juan, is the legendary Spanish philanderer who became a fixture of Romantic literature, surfacing even in The Phantom of the Opera. But MOZART’ s long-time collaborator Lorenzo DA PONTE did not cast him as a seductive hero. Instead, the libretto uses opera buffa to present his blunders, miscalculations, and damnation. Though the plot turns on an accidental killing and a vengeful ghost, the opera stays full of humor, and its beautiful arias and ensembles build to an opulent, exhilarating vocal feast.Just as impressive as the singing is MOZART’ s psychological insight. At first glance, Donna Anna seems reserved and unwilling to face herself, Donna Elvira obsessed to the point of madness, and the village girl Zerlina merely fickle. Look closer, though, and Anna reveals an indescribable complexity, Elvira an unacknowledged loneliness. MOZART caught these ambiguous, hidden feelings and rendered them fully in music. As for Don Giovanni — who dominates the stage and shapes every other character — he sings only a few minutes of solo music across the three-hour drama. The composer’ s meaning is unmistakable, a mark of his impeccable dramatic instinct.Don Giovanni is charged and vocally intricate. However familiar it may be, each performance remains a real test for conductor and singers, and its depth invites a wide range of interpretations. Weiwuying has assembled a top Taiwanese cast , including CHEN Han-wei, HSIEH Ming-mou, HSIAO Han, Claude LIN, KENG Li, HU Ting-wei, LIAO Yu-meng and LIANG You-jhong. With narration by Ethan WEI bringing the story together, the concert promises a relaxed, refreshing experience.
