She reminds us that a betrothed woman found pregnant in her time could have been stoned, and that many women today still face constrained choices and inequity — so despite her attribute of forgiveness, we must not simply “let it be.” Through playful dance fusions of politics and the arts, Mary is joined by inspiring women across history: suffragettes, female pioneers in government, celebrated literary figures, and legends of science and the arts, with a Portuguese women’s choir giving voice to the cast.
