Edu’s Fear is an animated short film that follows a day in the life of Edu, a child transitioning into adolescence, who faces his fears and discovers courage when choosing between the comfort of the past and the freedom of growth, symbolized by the sea and its mysteries.

In this cel-animation, painted formless figures haunt recent photos of empty public spaces, expressing a helpless, frantic energy felt in our current moment. They become displaced from their locations, as their environments dissolve and their printed record evaporates.

Remembering is fluid. Through shared rituals and fragmented memories, a daughter revisits her bond with her mother while reflecting on family, faith, and growing up. Blank frames of 35mm film become vessels for remembrance, weaving memory and image into a tender meditation on love and identity.

九萬一千針刺繡，一針一線縫製於同一塊皮革之上，搭配取樣自刺繡過程的聲音，構築出兼具視覺與聽覺節奏的定格動畫。透過重複勞動與時間累積，作品將工藝轉化為充滿韻律與力量的影像詩篇。
91 thousand tender, yet unrelenting embroidered stitches on a single piece of leather, plus an accompanying track composed of sound samples from the embroidery process.
